Make your voice heard!
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Early voting will begin on Friday, September 18.
This is an important decision for our students, schools and community – make sure to cast your ballot on or before Election Day.
There are three ways to vote:

Polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. You are assigned a polling place based on your address.

To have an absentee ballot mailed to you, first complete the Minnesota Absentee Ballot Request online.
You can also print an Absentee Ballot Application.
This website is available in 10 key languages.
You can submit the application online or return the completed application to your county elections office:

When you receive your absentee ballot, make your choices and return the completed ballot by mail to your local election office:

Absentee ballots may also be returned to your county’s in-person absentee voting locations.
Completed ballots must be received by Tuesday, November 3 to be counted.

Election Day will be here before you know it. How will you make elections and voting part of your routine? Make a plan to vote and make your voice heard this year. Encourage your family and friends to get to know the issues on the ballot and vote on or before Election Day. The first step is making sure you are registered to vote:
